COOLING ELEMENT

Cooling pressure element or cooling element is a series of accessories that are installed in the system with a pressure gauge or pressure transmitter. Pressure equipment is used in many systems. When choosing this equipment, you should pay enough attention to matching the technical specifications with the process characteristics. If the technical specifications do not comply with the process, the useful life of the equipment is reduced.

One of the most important factors that reduce the useful life of measuring equipment is that the process temperature is higher than the allowable temperature range of the equipment. To prevent damage to the pressure equipment in this situation, the cooling element can be used.

In systems where the process temperature is higher than the operating temperature of the gauge and pressure transmitter, this equipment can not be installed directly. Therefore, to prevent damage, a cooling element should be used with them.

Function

With air circulation and heat radiation in the cooling element, the average temperature is effectively reduced so the temperature does not exceed the allowable range of the pressure measuring instrument and possible errors are reduced. The working temperature of the measuring instrument can be used if the temperature of the process fluid is higher.
